Thomas & Betts Liquidtight Flexible Nonmetallic Condiut is used for MAXIMUM wire protection. To compliment the conduit, Thomas & Betts Nonmetallic Bullet Liquidtight connectors are used. Any length cable from 1-100 feet can be manufactured. Molders that start using PowerTECH Cables, standardize with them.
Paired "Type J" wire is used for Thermocouple Cables.
"UL 1007" (rated at over 20 amps) is used for the Power. For manifolds that require more than 20 amps, "Type E Teflon" is used. Both Power and Thermocouple cables have 100% stranded wire for maximum flexibility and durability. PowerTECH can put any type of connector and hood on your cables, and all connections are fully tested for wiring integrity.
PowerTECH manufactures special transition and "Y" cables for any configuration you can think of. All are custom engineered to your specific application with very short lead times. For difficult connector configurations, a Conversion Box can be made to match any controller to the mold. Cable assemblies with connectors at one end and flying leads at the other end are also available.
