When injection molds are taken out of production they need to be protected from the harmful effects of corrosion before being put away in storage. Failure to do so can result in damage to expensive tooling. SLIDE has a number of products that meet the needs of short and long-term corrosion protection. These products neutralize fingerprint acid and acid residues, provide a self-healing film, displace micro droplets of water and contain no wax or other material that builds up. Where part making is a concern, use of a "dry" rust preventative will prevent the product from penetrating down pins and cores, making start up fast and efficient.
