Streamline Multi-Flow Circuit Validation & Maximize Uptime
The Plastixs X-FLOW Multi-Circuit Flow Validator makes validating and troubleshooting mold flow rate and temperature per circuit quick and easy. The X-FLOW validates up to 8 or 16 circuits simultaneously, and includes a 110-120V power supply and portable cart, so using it with multiple machines on a production floor is very convenient. The X-FLOW also includes a USB, Bluetooth and network connection capabilities for transferring data to the to a Bluetooth device, a USB data card, or your network.
Each group of 8 zones is built around a SMARTFLOW SMARTLINK Tracer VM Interface that is fully wired and configured for immediate use. The 16-zone configuration has two of the Smartflow Smartlink interfaces installed on the cart. The second interface and flow meters can be added at any time.

- PLX-X-FLOW8-18: (8) SMARTFLOW® Tracer®VM electronic flowmeters monitor flow over a range of 1-18 lpm (0.3 to 4.8 GPM) and (1) SMARTFLOW® SMARTLINK® Tracer®VM Interface (cart can be upgraded to monitor an additional 8 zones by the addition of a second enclosure with (8) flowmeters and (1) SMARTLINK® Interface)
- PLX-XFLOW8-40: (8) SMARTFLOW® Tracer®VM electronic flowmeters monitor flow over a range of 2-40 lpm (0.5 to 10.6 GPM) and (1) SMARTFLOW® SMARTLINK® Tracer®VM Interface (cart can be upgraded to monitor an additional 8 zones by the addition of a second enclosure with (8) flowmeters and (1) SMARTLINK® Interface)
- PLX-XFLOW16-18: (16) SMARTFLOW® Tracer®VM electronic flowmeters monitor flow over a range of 1-18 lpm (0.3 to 4.8 GPM) and (2) SMARTFLOW® SMARTLINK® Tracer®VM Interfaces (8 flowmeters per interface)
- PLX-XFLOW16-40: (16) SMARTFLOW® Tracer®VM electronic flowmeters monitor flow over a range of 2-40 lpm (0.5 to 10.6 GPM) and (2) SMARTFLOW® SMARTLINK® Tracer®VM Interfaces (8 flowmeters per interface)
Included in All X-FLOW Multi-Circuit Flow Validator Systems:
- Each SMARTFLOW® Tracer®VM flowmeter on each system has a temperature range of 32°F (0°C) to 248°F (120°C)
- Each flowmeter has 300 series male plugs to allow connection of mold hoses
- The SMARTFLOW® SMARTLINK® Tracer®VM Interfaces are connected to each flowmeter in each system; the interface allows wireless display of the flowmeter data on a mobile device (via app) or it can output data via a an Ethernet connection
- Data log files can also be created for each flowmeter and saved on a USB flash drive documenting the mold cooling conditions
- Ethernet connection allows network file storage via PC software
- Configuration files save alarm settings and session setups to save time and maintain data consistency; the files are easily read into database software for reference or analysis
- The flowmeters and SMARTFLOW® SMARTLINK® system are mounted onto an enclosure with an on/off switch that provides power to the system from a standard 110VAC outlet
- A portable, roll-around cart allows the system to be easily moved into position around the mold
- A drip tray on the cart keeps the shop floor dry when hoses are disconnected from the flowmeters
